QUICK HOMEMADE Italian Style Pizza Dough

If you’re tired of ordering pizza and burning up your pockets, this recipe will definitely help you out. Very minimal ingredients and cost efficient. This recipe takes about 5 minutes (if you have a blender) but if you don’t have a blender it’ll only take about 10 minutes honestly. I didn’t have a blender and made my dough in no time.

  • All purpose flour
  • Garlic powder
  • Dried parsley flakes
  • Fresh Italian parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 packet Fast Acting INSTANT yeast
  • Olive oil
  • Sugar
  1. Place 2 cups of all purpose flour in bowl (or blender)
  2. Add 1 tbs of salt
  3. Add 1 tbs of pepper
  4. Add 2 tbs of sugar
  5. Add 1 tbs of garlic powder
  6. Add 2 pinches of dried parsley flakes
  7. Add packet of fast acting instant yeast
  8. Mix dry ingredients alone before adding water
  9. If using a blender, turn blender on low power and start adding water until it gets to pizza dough consistency. If doing by hand, add little water and mix until eventually getting to dough consistency
  10. When done play around with dough to make sure it is NOT sticking to your hands. If so continue to add a LITTLE more flour until it stops sticking to your hands
  11. When at the perfect consistency, sprinkle a little flour in a bowl
  12. Set dough in the bowl and cover loosely with plastic wrap for 30-45 minutes at room temperature
  13. After resting, remove the plastic wrap
  14. Puncture a hole in dough with your fingers to release the air (you will hear poof)
  15. Spray pizza pan with cooking spray or use a light coat of olive oil
  16. Place dough on pan and spread it to your ideal size
  17. Add toppings of your choosing
  18. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes
  19. Let your pizza cool off and enjoy!

Bonus: Garlic Butter

For a more enjoyable pizza here’s the recipe I made to rub on my crust after removing from oven

  • Butter/Margarine
  • Garlic powder
  • Fresh Italian parsley
  1. Melt 3 tbs of butter or margarine
  2. Add finely chopped parsley (however much you desire)
  3. Add 1 tbs of garlic powder
  4. Mix together
  5. Brush on crust of your pizza immediately after taking it out of oven
